ABOUT US

Getting Involved is a project which assists business people who are interested in supporting their communities.

The strongest communities are those where many people get involved and work co-operatively, sharing their knowledge, skills, contacts and other resources to make their towns better places to live – economically, socially and environmentally.

The project is a partnership between

• Frankston Community Support and Information Centre

• Mornington Peninsula Community Connections and

• Mornington Peninsula Shire Council.

Each of the partners in this project is involved in helping to make the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula communities stronger - from providing direct services and funding for local projects, to developing community policy and highlighting how governments can be more responsive to community needs.
