    Business in the Community is a UK-based organisation with 700 member companies, and a further 1600 participating in its programmes and campaigns. It operates through a network of 98 local business-led partnerships, as well as working with 45 global partners. Its purpose is to inspire, challenge, engage and support business in continually improving its positive impact on society. It is the largest and longest-established organisation of its kind - an independent business-led charity with over 20 years experience.

    A Melbourne and Sydney-based organisation aimed at promoting philanthropy and volunteerism among young professionals.  The organisation actively links its members with a broad range of community groups and charitable organisations who need their professional expertise.
     

  • Melbourne Cares
    Melbourne Cares aims to help business, communities and government to work together to improve the quality of life for the people of Melbourne, especially those who are disadvantaged. Among its objectives are to encourage and facilitate Melbourne businesses to integrate employee volunteering and community investment into their own business and employee development goals and to broker mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships with the private, public and voluntary sectors in Melbourne to address disadvantage and social exclusion in the city.

    Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) is a global organization that helps member companies achieve success in ways that respect ethical values, people, communities and the environment. BSR provides information, tools, training and advisory services to make corporate social responsibility an integral part of business operations and strategies. A non-profit organization, BSR promotes cross sector collaboration and contributes to global efforts to advance the field of corporate social responsibility.

     

  • The Prime Minister's Community Business Partnership
    This group advises and assists the Australian Government on issues concerning community business collaboration. The Partnership’s goals include identifying and addressing incentives and impediments to corporate social responsibility and encouraging a culture of giving in Australia.  The Partnership’s role is advocacy, facilitation and recognition of corporate social responsibility and partnerships between business and community organisations in Australia.
