"While it is important for companies
to devote energy to developing their
businesses, they should also be involved
in developing other aspects of their
community."

Phil Jones has been proprietor of the Frankston International Motel since September 2001.

Raised in Aspendale, Phil has worked in hotels around Australia for 20 years for chains including the Hyatt, Sheraton, Parkroyal, Travelodge, Country Comfort and Chifley.

Immediately prior to his arrival in Frankston, he was a regional general manager responsible for 10 hotels in NSW and the ACT.

Phil is enthusiastic about the potential of Frankston and he has a very strong commitment to the advancement of the local community.

He is keen to promote and be involved in the economic and social development of the area and is pleased with recent advancements in Frankston.

Phil is an executive committee member of the Frankston Business Chamber, on the executive committee of Tourism Frankston and a member of the Foreshore Advisory Committee.

He is on the management committee of Menzies Inc. which provides community support in particular to disadvantaged children and their families.
